How do I login for the first time?

Network Access Login Directions

Use of CMN’s computers, networks, and Internet access is a privilege granted by the college. The college has set policies, and any student who violates them may have his or her network ID, password, and/or e-mail address removed from the server without notice. As well, students who violate the policies may also be referred to legal authorities if deemed necessary. If you have any questions please contact the CMN IT department for more information on Internet, Email, and Computer Usage Policies.

Please follow the instructions below to set up your CMN network access.

You can now gain Student Network Access by logging into your CMN Email. To go there, click on the CMN Email link at the College of the Muscogee Nation website at

Your username will be your First and Last For example, a student named Sample Test, will have a username of .

You will have a temporary password that will allow you to log in but you are required to create a new password. The temporary password is uppercase letter First Name initial, your lowercase letter Last
Name initial and your Student ID number. For example, a student named Sample Test’s temporary password would be, St123456789.

Once you login with the username and the temporary password you will be required to create a new password. Your new password must contain at least 6 characters, cannot contain your first, last name or Student ID number, and must have 3 of the following 4 criteria:

Contain at least one uppercase letter.
Contain at least one lowercase letter.
Contain at least one number.
Contain at least one symbol.

Once you have followed the requirements and the computer has accepted your new password, you have successfully created your new password. Please remember your newly created password. The login info allows access to everything students will need to be successful during their time at the College of the Muscogee Nation. It gives access to campus computers, student email and college material important to your studies.

If you are still having problems logging in to your network account after following these steps, please contact the CMN IT department @ 918-549-2822 or submit a help desk ticket at, you will be prompted for information such as a phone number, alternate email address or security questions that can be used to reset you password if you lose access to your account in the future.
